Elkhart Plastic tanks are manufactured to meet quality and health safety standards. Elkhart Plastics uses a process called roto-molding in which high-density plastic is rotated and molded into shape. This process creates a seamless tank in which the walls are of equal thickness, with no weak spots to cause trouble later. THE SEALED HOLE ON TOP OF THE TANK IS FROM THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS. IT IS A VENTING HOLE USED DURING THE CREATION OF THE TANK.  IT HAS NO FUNCTIONAL USE FOR THE END-USER.

PLEASE NOTE: The attached drawing shows fittings installed.  That is the positioning for the Viking tanks.  Our tanks are sold blank with no fittings so we can customize to all customer needs.
